This Indo-Chinese creation is a much sought after starter. Widely popular with both kids and adults, it can easily make your evening special. It tends to work excellently as a side dish, an appetizer in itself or can be served with steamed rice.

Ingredients:
250 Gms. Boneless fish fillet( 2"_3" broad)
1/2 cup cornflour
1/2 cup flour
Salt , as per taste
1/2 tsp. Black pepper powder
1/2 Capsicum(cut into cubes)
1/2 Red pepper(cut into cubes)
1/2 Yellow pepper(cut into cubes)
Oil for frying
For the sauce:
1/2 tsp. Garlic(chopped)
1/2 tsp. Ginger( chopped)
1 tsp. Green chillies(chopped)
4 tbsp. Tomato ketchup
2 tsp. Light soya sauce
2tsp. Vinegar
2 tsp. Chilli sauce
1 tbsp. Cornstarch
Oil
Instructions:
1.Make a thick batter of flour , cornflour, salt and pepper.
2. Add fish to it.
3. Deep fry till it is golden brown in color.
4:In a pan, heat oil .Add chopped ginger, garlic and green chillies. Stir it a little.
5:Add tomato ketchup,Soya sauce, Vinegar and Chilli sauce.
6:Stir it for 2 to 3 minutes and add cubed peppers .Again, stir it for 2 minutes.
7:Add cornstarch and stir.
8:Add fish and stir well so that it is evenly coated.
9:Serve!!
